Safety and reports
Last updated 16 October 2026
Spawnpoint is built so that a game can’t reach players, only entertain them. Here’s how it works and how to tell us about a problem.
How Spawnpoint keeps players safe
- A moderator checks every new game and every update before players can see it.
- Games run in a sandbox. They can’t access your account, read anything from Spawnpoint, use the internet, open pop-ups or send you to other websites.
- Spawnpoint has no chats, messages, comments or profiles. Games with online multiplayer may only offer preset quick messages, never free-text or voice chat, so strangers can’t message each other.
- Ratings are a simple thumbs up or down, with no written reviews.
- A few games, like multiplayer ones, are hosted on their creator’s own site. Their store page says so, and the moderator checks the game before it goes live. They play inside their store page but come from the creator’s own site, so they run outside Spawnpoint’s sandbox, though they still can’t access Spawnpoint or your account.
Report a game
Use Report this game on any game’s page. For anything else, email the contact email on the Safety page. The moderator aims to review every report within two days. Games that break the content rules or the law are removed. We report content that harms children, and other serious illegal content, to the authorities.
Appeals
If your game was rejected or removed, you can appeal from Your games. Tell us what you think we got wrong or what you’ve changed. If you leave an email address, we’ll reply with our decision.
Contact for safety
The person responsible for safety on Spawnpoint is the site operator. Contact: the contact email on the Safety page.
For parents and carers
Games are checked for a general audience, there’s no way for players to contact each other, and no accounts are needed to play. If you see anything that worries you, report it and we’ll look at it quickly.
If someone is in danger
If anyone is in immediate danger, call 999. Young people can talk to Childline for free on 0800 1111.
